The suppoprt of the American people, if not their government, depends on how you treat women and whether there is respect for the rule of law.

Women's civil society organisations provide a crucial voicepiece for women in all societies - the treatment of REPAK reflects very badly on the Kurdistan Regional Government.

A meaningful democracy must allow civil organizations to perform their work unimpeded and support full rights for women.

Women around the world evaluate governments by the degree to which they include women in public life. What a disappointment to find that Kurdish governments cannot include independent women's voices.

Autorities at Erbil and other resistance instances should know better than to mistake their target. The way REPAK staff was treated is incomprehensible and outrageous.

Strong women are vital to life

No society can succeed if women's rights aren't allowed to develop.

Let women speak. They have wisdom to offer everyone.

It is vital to support the work of secular women's organisations. The government of the KRG has a committment to women's rights and should not harm or obstruct them.

If women are not involve on civil society activities . that civil society will not be completed . in order to have human security women should be part of the process.

If this statement fairly sums up the situation facing REPAK, the security forces are acting like thugs,\. Desist now!.

These women are a valuable resource for your country
