While Mayor Inday Sara Duterte has publicly expressed her disinterest to run as President of the Philippines in the upcoming 2022 elections, this does not negate the urgent need of our country for a strong, determined, and enlightened leader to govern us during these unprecedented times.
Through this petition, we hope that the voice of our countrymen can be heard, and eventually touch the heart of Mayor Inday Sara to reconsider her earlier position. We trust that her sense of patriotism, selflessness, and public service will allow her to discern her place in history, and heed the call of Filipinos. Mga kababayan, sa panahong ito, ang kailangan natin ay isang lider na nakatutok sa trabaho at sa mamamayang Pilipino. We need a leader WHO MEANS BUSINESS.

Habang ipinahayag na ni Mayor Inday Sara Durterte na hindi siya interesado tumakbo bilang Pangulo ng Pilipinas sa darating na halalan sa 2022, hindi nawawala ang ating matinding pangangailangan para sa isang determinado at makataong lider, upang mamuno sa ating bansa.
Sa petisyong ito, umaasa kami na marinig ang boses at tunay na saloobin ng ating mga kababayan, at tuluyang masaling ang puso ni Mayor Inday Sara na sana'y muli niyang pag-isipan ang kanyang naunang desisyon. Naniniwala kami na ang kanyang pagmamahal sa bayan ay magbibigay liwanag tungkol sa kanyang pwesto sa kasaysayan, at isaalang alang ang panawagan ng sambayanang Pilipino. We need continuity. Tama na yung panahon na tuwing bagong administration tinitigil ang proyekto ng nakaraan. Sabi nga 6 years is too short for a good president.
