Time is the most valuable resource in our occupation. Hence it should not be wasted, waiting for printouts.

I am in favour of any more efficient system: wasting time by waiting for a print-out is not acceptable.

The login system with the TU/e card is by far faster for copying and scans than the old PIN-code-based one. On the other hand, the printing takes now longer without 'Direct Printing'. The most efficient way to use the new printers is to support 'Direct Printing', while we are able to use the campus card for Scan and copy purposes.

Employees have very little variance in which printer they use for printing, therefore direct printing makes much more sense than follow you printing, which takes too much time. (having both both direct printing and follow you printing available would be the best scenario)
