Empowering Employees by Reassessing Policy Changes

I believe COVID have taught everyone a new way of finding balance between work and family. Our company is salary based. If the company trust employees to be honest on the hours we worked, we should be trusted to work 2 days from home.

The commute is killing me. Sitting in traffic for hours just to sit on calls all day makes no sense when I get way more done from my home office.

I strongly support the petition for remote work options. Working remotely enhances productivity by minimizing commute stress and utilizing technology effectively. It promotes work-life balance, reduces carbon footprint, and widens the talent pool. Granting this choice benefits employees, companies, and the environment alike.

I would like to add that I am sure we have all felt the effect recently of the inflation we are facing whether it be at the gas pump, at the grocery store, our energy bills, childcare costs, ect. Being able to work from home two days per week has been a huge help for my family. For example, I have school aged children at home that are old enough to walk to and from their bus stop on their own but are too young to be home alone. Having to pay for only 3 days per week of before school care/after school care compared to 5 days per week makes a big difference in my household. I truly believe that being able to work remotely 2 days per week in one way or another has helped everyone save valuable time as well as save financially.

I have never abused my work from home privileges. As a matter of fact, when I have my laptop at home I go above and beyond by working at all hours of the day and night and on weekends.

Work-Life balance & passion for the planet were the reasons I joined the Green Worldwide Team! Any company can say they care but it takes true fortitude to back it up with action.
