An employer can't tell people they may not say Merry Christmas or any other religious holiday including but not limited to: Kwaanza, Hanukkah etc. So many people have a fear of losing their jobs because their employer demands them to not use those words when speaking to customers. More people are offended by NOT being able to say Merry Christmas etc. than those who are offended by someone saying it. It's time for us to stand up and stop them. We can make all the difference.

Merry Christmas (or any other well wishes during the holiday season) is not offensive, even to a person who does not celebrate the same holiday. Employees should not be told that they can not share a particular holiday greeting because it will reflect their faith. Anyone of any faith knows that a very important part of that faith is the ability to live by it in your daily life and to share it with others. Sharing is not forcing. Sharing by way of a simple greeting is not offensive by any means and the right to do so should not be imposed on by an employer when such act will have no reasonable bearing upon a person's work performance and will cause no reasonable ill effect on a business's ability to conduct business.

It's not even a majority rule. A few people have changed everything because Christains stand back and won't stop them. I just refuse to give up.

And AMEN Shirley! Come back God! There are a lot of us who still want you here. Forgive us for not standing up to the bullies who wanted You gone. Help us to do better, please.

Using a greeting displaying our faith/belief can not be offensive because it is not used in a way to condemn other faiths, it is a polite greeting and a display of beliefs. Nothing more, but nothing less. People should be allowed to do that without fear of punishment.

Little by little our freedom of speech and religion are being ripped away. It is time to stand up for ourselves and stop letting the minority rule. Happy Birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas and may God Bless us all, and come back and Bless America again
