The school board thinks they can quietly scrub our shelves, but this surge of support proves that we are watching their every move. We are not letting East Penn School District play gatekeeper to our students and their intellectual freedom.

High school is for learning how to think for yourself not for letting the school board dictate what is safe to read. Leave the lists alone!
Ridiculous. Stop trying to shelter kids from everything they dont like. Real life is complicated.
Let us read what we want. My education shouldnt be limited by someone elses offended parent.
Books are meant to challenge us. If you dont like the book just pick a different one from the list. Dont force your choice on everyone else.
Seriously? Censoring books in 2017? We should be encouraging reading not banning it because it makes a few people uncomfortable.

This is ridiculous. Kids at the high school level are old enough to handle adult themes in literature. Let them read.
