Since of February, there were fewer parking spaces in the community, which made us feel worry every day. I hope to help us find more parking spots.

We live on north mariposa and have had our vehicle ticketed. Our neighbor in the same driveway has also had their vehicle ticketed and they live in the detached homes.

We have lived here for 5 years and have never had a problem with parking. I have a rotating shift and often come home late. It is very frustrating that I cannot find parking coming home at 9-10pm unless I park in the red and risk being towed or park behind my garage and risk getting tickets. Why did the city paint the curb red in so many spots? It never was a safety issue previously. Please help us resolve our parking situation!

It's impossible to park large cars in our garage so we rely on street parking for one of our cars. It's extremely difficult to find a spot after 4p. The red zone were painted without an annoucement or residentd knowledge. Now the guests parking are taken away. Where are we supposed to park when we get back home at night? I've parked in the now red zone after 11p once and woke up early to find a ticket on my car before 7a. I can't believe there is a patrol during the night. We should be able to park at night where there are spaces available, red or not. These red areas were good to park at night. I dislike very much the fact that one day I saw a regular guy without city garment painting the curbs red. I seriously doubt it was the city who decided to paint the curbs but the HOA. Whoever is on the board noe is not helping the situation. I feel like I'm being controlled by someone's own agenda and I've lived and own here since the beginning. Who is paying for parking boss? It better not come out the HOA monthly fees as I would be paying for a service that gives me tickets. There are nowhere else to park. We can't park on Dougherty, the apartment etc..The closest parking is by the Iron Horse trail across the street. Why not let people park in the red zones from 8p to 8a every day. Most of the red zoned are where the garbage bins are. There should be no cars parked on garbage day so Tuesdays and Wednesdays but why not the other days? Makes no sense to take away these spots. I've been living here since the beginning and these new rules are only damaging the situation. I feel like I'm a renter and being told what to do.

This is our home, we should be excited to come home to relax and enjoy our time with family. Instead we feel stressed about parking and fear that we might get towed or ticketed, this is an outrage to say the least. Nobody will want to live in a community like this if change doesn't happen.

Hi Neighbors,
I actually contacted HOA and informed them numerous times about the parking situation. Their response was for me to attend an HOA meeting. I did. I waited for 25 minutes at their office in San Ramon and no one showed up. I wrote another concerning email stating that their poor attendance just shows that they do no care about the situation and are not on top of it. Supposedly, they are scheduling a follow-up meeting. I will keep this group updated and hopefully we can all go together and show the gravity of this.
Thanks,
Bessie

The parking situation has been fine for more than 5 years. It have not been a problem and there has not been a single recorded accident or safety incident to warrant painting many of the lanes red and taking away 30 parking spots in the area.

The number of residents vehicles need to be parked outside is way more than the parking spots.
Somebody get tickets or towed almost everyday now.
This is ridiculous! We paid more than $500 since this regulation starts in February. $500 Within ONE month!!
There are no alternative parking spots near by this community.
Please give us back some spots!

YESS I HAVE THE SAME ISSUES and think this is outrageous. My car window has reminense of glue from the parking violations and this is unacceptable. We had very little notice of these rules being in placed and no say what so ever. Who cares if we park on those newly red areas?! There was no issue before why is there one now??

The spots on the streets at the end of the court should not be painted red. It fits 4 cars there and the neighborhood have been parking there for more than 5 years. It does not pose any danger because no fire hydrant or house is around that court. Why would the city paint it red recently?

Since our community is isolated from public streets, we have to park our cars only on a street running inside the community. Since February, parking spots on this street were significantly reduced and strictly enforced. Many residents are living with frustration and uncomfort. I hope the city of Dublin will review our community plan and give parking spots back to us.

I’ve been living at the crossroads condominium in emerald vista for 6 years, the original owner with 4 adults commuters. With the recent changes in parking, it added to our daily stress whether or not I could find a spot. Coming home from work should be a joy, but it became a stressor. I cannot socialize with coworkers after work anymore. Now I am starting to wondering why I moved here. Additional parking spaces would be greatly appreciated.

Parking was barely manageable for the past 5 years until we lost all the parking to red because of complaints. The city needs to reassessed for what was designed for originally vr what is here because of big vehicles, extra cars from apartments, or where ever.
Tickets and towing is not the solution to the matter as we are now facing as a solution from our hoa. Residential tags, something is needed to resolve the issue. The hoa and apartments implement a tow now so this only impacts the community.
No help from our hoa for a solution. So we are needing the city to help with some of the red parking.
Please Dublin help.
