The buses to Elm Grove Elementary School from the Garlic Creek and Cullen Country neighborhoods have been cut, leaving students to walk, ride bikes, or ride in a car to school. A bridge was built to help kids get to their school, but there are improvements we would like the Hays CISD to make to it.

First of all, we would like to put a crossing guard to make sure the children are being safe and to help anyone who gets hurt or sick. The crossing guard will also prevent accidents, littering, and bullying.

Then, we would also like to put a solar-powered light on the bridge so that the students can see on dark winter mornings. If you agree that these things are needed to keep students safe, please sign our petition.
