The Red Sox are in trade talks with the Twins about left-hander Johan Santana. ESPN's Buster Olney reported that the Red Sox put Jacoby in their trade offer. This is for people who can't stand to see Jacoby (a.k.a. the future of the Sox) go.

Seeing Jacoby in trade rumors keeps me up at night because I know he is the heart of our future. Watching the front office even consider letting him go feels like they are ignoring everything he has already given to this team.

Seeing this level of support reminds me why I fell in love with this team in the first place. Jacoby represents the future of our outfield and it is clear I am not the only one who refuses to see him head to another city.
