Our schools are over crowded, infrastructure is stretched to the max and our first responders are overwhelmed. Newton County doesn’t need this type of growth. Look at Conyers as an example of what NOT to do.

I am Not in favor of the development of the new developments on/off of 278 and 142. I am also not in favor of the change in zoning to suburban housing areas. It needs to be rural residential.

We also do not have sufficient public safety to provide adequate service now. Our hospital is not able to handle the current patient load. I mention this in addition to the concerns of watershed, traffic, tax increases.

These kinds of neighborhoods are SO not like the rest of the town! I think the 1 acre lot should be the minimum for the area, and if people want to live in cookie cutter neighborhoods where you can reach out of your window and touch your neighbors house like this then, respectfully, they can live in another town where they have them.
