Keep 4th grade awesome. Don't dump teachers. They help shape and guide our nation's next generation of leaders. That's just elementary logic.

I'm so irate that Eliot will be taking away a 4th grade teacher & now there will be 29-30 kids in a classroom!! Children "DO NOT LEARN" properly w/ that many children in one classroom!! I hope this can be rectified & Ms. Nicholson can keep her job & most importantly, so our children can thrive in an environment that has 19-29 kids in a classroom!! Sincerely, A very unhappy parent & I speak for ALL....

Ms.Nicholson deserves her spot at Eliot elementary!!! She is the most caring, hardworking woman I know, and trys very hard to be the best teacher she can be!

Does anyone seriously believe that a teacher can do an adequate job educating 30 children in a class? This is insane and I can't believe this action has taken place. Whatever it takes, bring this teacher back to Eliot!!!! We will pay the consequences later if we don't.

30 kids in a 4th grade classroom does not allow kids a good learning environment. I teach HS and we keep our class number way below that. Put the kids first.

I am a retired teacher. 30 is a ridiculous amount of students in a classroom.

My daughter is still in pre-school and we hope to send her to Eliot in a few years. Please keep the classes small.

Please consider more than numbers when making this change--Think of the students who will suffer in a classroom this large.

as a public school teacher for 15 yrs, I never cease to be amazed at what is dumped on teachers. That's called babysitting, not teaching when you shove a bunch of students into one room
