West Virginia has experienced a drastic reduction in all game species due to an uncontrollable predator population. This petition seeks to reverse the demise of our sacred natural resource by eliminating numerous predator trapping/hunting restrictions.

Targeted Predators:

Coyote / Skunk / Raccoon

Requested Changes:

Residents / Nonresidents will be allowed to trap/hunt predators year round without licensing or bag limit restrictions on private / state / federal lands.

The use of leg hold, body grip, and snares are authorized to be used for targeted predators.

Bait is authorized to be used if taken from legal game/domestic animals. (Non-eatable)
