Eliminate the Confederation Bridge tolls for all islanders

It's not fair that we have to pay but those crossing the big new bridge in Montreal, don't have to pay. Be fair Prime Minister, we're part of Canada too.

Get rid of the toll on the confederation bridge, I am tired of being penalized for living in PEI. We are a part of Canada

sad that we are the only one of 10 provinces in Canada that we have to pay to leave our Province by car and family and friends must pay to drive for a visit. Where is the equal in this, children's right, parents rights, animal rights. WHERE IS THE ISLANDERS RIGHTS????

I moved here 3 years ago. The only family I have is off island and for me to see them is very hard with the bridge cost since I don't make a whole lot of money

we Islanders should NOT have to pay to leave our provence. It's harder for those who want to work off island and families who are traveling for medical reasons, and for those on a fixed or have a low income. it's about time someone doing something about the outrages cost of leaving the island.

The contract with Strait Crossing needs to be reviewed on the same basis as the Champlain bridge in Montreal. Don't tell me that the tolls are for Bridge maintenance etc. I'm sure the Montreal bridge requires the same upkeep.

would be amazing to not have to pay we make so many medical trips to halifax and it dont make anything any easier when we have such a huge amount we need to pay to leave PEI.. Not fair we gotta be paying to have our daughter get the help and attention she needs elsewhere!

I travel of island a lot to see family as all my family and family on law are all off island so this would be great and make it cheaper for us to do so

Members of my family are forced to pay these tolls to access health care services on a regular basis on limited budgets. That's 45$ for bridge + $50 for gas + meals and motels. Montreal residents are a cab ride away from all these services.
Remove these tolls.

I don't understand why it is free to travel to and from every province in Canada except for PEI!!

why should we have to pay to leave the island and yet it's free for anyone else to leave the province they live in? and it's free for people to come over to PEI from NB but they have to pay to leave again... doesn't make sense to me

The whole idea of Islanders paying is BS to start with, the Island was promissed a permanent link to the mainland when the province was to join Confederation and be part of Canada from the beginning...

Having to travel to Hospital for months is painful but having to pay the toll makes situation more stressful. Islanders are paying daily to travel to hospitals.
