Dear Acting President Timothy Chandler, We, the undersigned Towson University staff, are petitioning you to waive parking permit fees for everyone earning less than $45,000 a year. This would mean a pay increase for us without you and your administration having to procure more money from the State of Maryland. Since raises have been few and far between during the last ten years and the governor cutting the budget to the University System, this would be at least alittle help to those of us on the lower income scale. We appreciate your consideration.

I have been staring at my own parking bill again and honestly it just keeps feeling more absurd the longer I look at the math. People have been messaging me about how much their grocery bills are climbing lately so I know this little fee is actually a huge deal for so many of us right now.

This would indeed be a help as single mom of two children with a very limited income
I am signing this petition in support of my proactive co-workers, and in protest of certain TU parking policies with which I disagree. Thank you for seriously considering this request.
YES...mainly in athletics we pay so much & come to work & can't even park in our lot because they are alwasys closing it for events. Not to mention just because we make a certain amount does not mean we don't have expenses. It cost tooo much to come to work!!
If we cant cut them completely, can we lower them? My pay increase will go directly to parking.
Living paycheck to paycheck here and these fees are just brutal. Really hope someone actually listens to us for once.
A waived fee or decrease would be much appreciated.

Having this fee waived or even just a decrease would be a great help to me financially.
