The CF 12/13 year now includes five half day dismissals (for teacher conferences). This will cause 25,000 hours of lost education and 4,250 days absense for our kids just this year.
This policy also places unfair burden on parents who now have to manage time, money, vacation and personal leave to provide five more days of unnecessary day care for CF Board endorsed absenteeism.
Please sign this petition to urge CF to move the conferences to any other "not in session days", and ELIMINATE half day dismissals or any other policy that causes absense and lost educational hours to our kids.

its so hard to find childcare on short notice5 times a year. they should just do these conferences after school hours and leave our kids in the classroom.
