The massive surge in support proves that Hockey Wales cannot simply ignore our national identity to chase shortcuts. They think we will roll over while they dilute our team but this momentum shows they have another thing coming.

The introduction of `plastic' Welsh players would be detrimental to the genuine Welsh players and their progression in the game.
My son does not have a Welsh Grandparent so he would be out, even though he has lived in Wales since he was a baby!
the work I see all the local coaches doing with the juniors and the efforts made by the parents travelling often long distances to take part will be completely undermined by this.
Our youngsters are the grass roots of Welsh hockey. What incentive would they have for all their hard work and travelling on weekends for games if not the chance and opportunity to play for Wales.
we have so many talented playes across the country - that includes Mid and North Wales!! Get a selection team and go and watch Welsh teams play . There is a very high standard being played but never witnessed! Get out there and search for a team that LOVE their country and play with all their heart, not because England didn't want them.
Underlines the fact that 360 is nothing more than a money making scheme for Hockey Wales. Complete disconnect with the club sand schools. Hockey Wales rather than support the growth of the game in Wales are in the process of killing it completely.

These proposals make a mockery of 360 Hockey. Take our money insisting that this is the only way to be considered for Welsh honours yet give it to foreigners for free!!!
