Not appropriate in scale, zoning or design standards conformity.

I am a resident of El Granada and object to this size house built on such a small lot. This sets a horrible precedent and should never be approved by the planning commission. They are breaking their own rules which have been in place for decades.

This is out of context for the neighborhood and the variances granted would only allow further degradation of the building requirements of the area

This project is completely out of character for the location, especially with cottages alongside. It’s overbuilding on a lot never meant for such a monstrosity. Please reconsider.

It is insulting to see that this new structure will be allowed to build within 3 feet of the property line. This setback should not be allowed. Also, there is a horrid unarticulatied design, so it is one long straight wall running the length of the entire building. There is massing. It is quite clear that whoever granted the setbacks has not even seen the property in person.

Under no circumstances 3 feet setbacks should be allowed ANYWHERE on the coast

El Granada is special because of the open space. Setbacks need to be substantial.

This structure is not fitting in our El Granada neighborhood. It is much too large on a substandard lot.

I wholeheartedly agree with the objections to this project expressed in this petition.

The height of this proposed building, as seen with the story poles on the lot, is a concern, and should not be allowed. The proposed project is disruptive to neighbors and compromises privacy and view corridors. This building should be in compliance with Midcoast Design Standards.

This home needs to abide by set backs. You know buying a substandard lot the limitations. Now these people have to abide by them

This building does not fit in with this area. Overbearing. Stop density on the coast!

Completely out of scale for that street and one car garages should not be acceptable.

Too high And too many concessions There are other non conforming lots in the area granted with exceptions but nothing like that

This project is TOO HIGH for the neighborhood. Was public input ever sought? I never saw it, and I live nearby. Please make sure this is only One store high. Thank you.

I know we need housing on the coast but that is a big duplex for a small lot.
