I'm so sad about the ending on how it leaves us with a cliffhanger. But the thing that breaks my heart the most is the fact that there is no more to the story. I am trying to find every way possible to try and find a way to convince the creators to bring a second season of this master piece Elfen Lied. They really have something going, and im trying everything in my power to try and spread the word, though i am nothing but a peasant. Words cannot explain how I feel about this series, I only hope everyone that reads this can understand how i feel. Im in love with Elfen Lied, Lucy/Nyu, Nana and everyone there. I dont want it to end. :'(

I agree, and im not a crier but wow, i have to see it every day at least 8 times. And every time I cant help but shed a few tears everytime. I want more

I am new to the anime world, and i was hooked on it. I fell in love with Attack on Titan and I thought that was the best that anime could do. But then I saw Elfen Lied. It showed me that anime can get so much deeper, so much bloodier, and so much more emotional. I am not a crier believe me. Yet this series brought me to tears, and I cant stop watching it over and over again. I fell in love with it ever sense the first episode. I can't get enough. I loved the ending, and i thought for sure with an ending like that there would be more to the story. Don't get me wrong i love the ending, i cant stop watching it, but i am so unsatisfied with the ending. There are so many questions that I have. So much more that I want to enjoy. There is nothing I can write down or say that can tell anyone how much I love this series, or how i wish that there was more. And when I see the statistics of this petition my heart grows heavier with sadness. My fear is that I will never see what happens to the rest of the family, what happens to Lucy, or what the director will plan to do next. I will sign this petition, but i just hope that deep down in my heart, and in the hearts of the creators of Elfen Lied, to continue with this series. If there was/is anything that I could do, I would do everything within my power to do it. I really hope people read this and understand me, and will please ask for this series to continue. Sometimes all people need is just a little glimpse of hope. Please. :'(

I'm not okay with this ending! I want more! This story was ment to be TOLD not READ! I want a COMPLETE story not one where Lucy dies!

This was a fantastic anime which was far too short and left me craving more. I have not had time nor access to the manga, but I look forward to reading it when I can.
