Remote learning at Robinson is not acceptable. This asynchronous time is a joke. We need our kids back in school to learn.

I want to say that all of the teachers are doing great!! It is so hard on all of them too. They all are so positive and caring. The little kids just need that foundation.

We absolutely need to have our elementary kids back in School, at least 3 hours a day if not full time. It is absurd that we are keeping kids at home in front of screens for so long every day. All along we were told that school would start as a hybrid model with the idea to go full time and instead we have been dealing with a remote model that has been an epic failure on the part of the administration to plan appropriately. Our kids need to be around other kids, learning and socializing in the classroom. The latest science from the CDC as we feel that it is extraordinarily unlikely that young children would be adversely affected and for the most part we now are in a situation where most people without preconditions like diabetes who are under the age of 70 face very little risk. thank you for setting up this petition, you beat me to it. It is time to hold the school committee and administration accountable.

Even though the teachers are doing an great job at keeping the kids engaged, is not enough for them. My little kindergartener is trying very hard to stay focus, and remaining calm while sitting is not easy, I see how unhappy she is. She gets bored. Everyday she says she wishes she could talk to one of those kids on the screen.

PLEASE! If teachers said in the spring that the academic portion of the day was 2-2.5 hours, this proposal can benefit all younger students!

Our youngest children in the Mansfield School system deserve to have a better hybrid option pertaining to more in person learning. The current setup is not sufficient for K-2 Students. Our Robinson teachers would like to see their cohort classes more often so I do not know why this isn't occuring like it is in our neighboring towns. If the reasoning is bussing than I do not believe that is a good enough reason. The logistics can be figured out, survey parents, add buses, maybe charge a small fee. Either way our youngest students in the Mansfield School District deserve a better option than the current hybrid plan. If the district is in disagreement we deserve more transparency on the reasons why.
