We, the students of Deakin University, respectfully request a more accessible and equitable policy regarding the submission of assignments by off-campus students. We call for a more responsive strategy that allows both electronic and postal submissions to make tertiary study more accessible for all students. The existing policy causes concern and confusion amongst the student community, leading to the necessity for appropriate uniform changes to be implemented. We (DUSA), ask that students sign the petition in order for Deakin to gauge the volume of requests so that future changes can accurately reflect the needs of our community.
