Please relook at the threshold of the property value that has been set in determing when a consumer qualifies for lifeline or domestic tariff. Sars has a threshold for property tax which is st R900 001.00. Consider using the same threshold for electricity tariffs. Please also stop dishing out free services to people that flock to the Western Cape from other provinces etc. Provide us with affordable rates as we are working class people who pay tax, a bond, municipal services.
