R2.00 per unit for household electricity is way too much. We are normal pensioners and unable to afford the charge.

Tarrif are high but street lights burn during the day for weeks. Politicians misuse and theft of money are made up from its people.

Im signing this petition for myself and the community who has been effected by this unfairness. The City is supposed to work for us, not rob us... Lord, I pray that you will make all things possible for us.. Every community member that has been affected by this unfairness, I pray in Jesus name that you will make things happen so everything will work out in our favour, in Jesus name I pray.......

I hereby protest the recent high cost in electricity tarriffs! The rates are unreasonable. Government needs to be more sensitive to the people especially to low income families and the elderly!

Im living in a complex which I'm renting for the past 2years now, and I have been getting the free electricity every month. Which really came in handy. Im very disappointed as I wasn't even notified that it will be taken away as well as I receive 25 units for R50 totally sad.
I would really like that it go back to the way it was and not how they are operating now rating us as rich, where we not even close to be called that.
