This is ridiculous! Is it a sin to own your own house now?? Should we all rather be standing on main roads, burning tyres and throwing bricks at cars and buses to get free housing and free electricity?

Been struggling for more then 2 years or more to get my account to life line now every time I must hear your property value is to high although my consumption were always below the so called required amount I'm sick an tired already thanx

I'm being punished because I want to be a home owner. I live in Ruyterwacht where I work damn hard to cover my bare essentials. What I pay a month for electricity is disgusting and when I had a power outage it took Eskom two days to come out. I'm a hardworking single mother and being taken for a ride.

I'm in I can never jump from R400pm to R900pm n were only 2 ppl. When my neighbour has 7ppl in the house n they purchase R300pm n get free electricity.

Why should we pay such high tarrifs when others can just steal electricity? Please try to put systems in place to trace these culprits.

Electricity tariffs must fall. Eskimo and the City of Cape Town is crippling the poor people some of them is converting to using candles cause if they buy electricity they don't have money for food

I challenge all community leaders and those who call themselves leaders, in Bonteheuwel and across the Cape Flats to sign this petition and do something about Eskom bleeding our people dry while earning bonuses for doing nothing.
