Paying more for electricity than I'm paying for my bond. Bunch of incompetent rogues!! #electricity tariffs must fall......fast!!! I'm so sick of bring an honest Joe!! You just get screwed ....all the time!!

Cost of electricity is killing us. Why are we still in a system where the rich gets richer and the poor get poorer. Goverment must look after it's people and not allow privatise sections to bleed us more...we already dying out here.

I agree rates must fall...a couple of years ago, I was told "winter rates were in place", but they didn't go back to summer rate ....nor have i had "free units" for over 2 years! My usage is minimal, so can they not go back to a usage-based system & ease the burden on those that comply? Same as water.... I use less than 20L a day, yet get charged for 1KL or more... HOW???? Eskom needs to put cash back in system not the back pockets of those who can't do their job & don't deserve the multimillion rand "bonuses".... Its not right that the average employee struggles to make ends meet because of power struggle & "entitlement" issues in government. Who pays for their electricity, or do they run off their neighbours?

I buy over R1000 electricity for the month even thought we've tried to cut back on the usage.... We hardly ever put out geyser on but yet our electricity flies. Buying for a certain amount and getting half the amount of units is a shame!

This blatant exploitation must stop. We the South African buplic deserve better from our local & national governments. The electricity cost is an absolute ripoff and needs to be challenged at the highest level of government and our courts.
