Electricity is becoming unaffordable. Myself - Renting a house because I cannot afford to buy one. Now I am paying higher rates because of the area I am in but it's not my house.

Its just ridiculous . I had to cut down on basic food stuff cz the electricity u get for yur money is too little. 16.5 units for R50 the last 2 weeks of the month its R50 per day. Who can afford that? #electricitytariffsmustfall

i have to pay 250rand more per month although we are only 2 people in the house and both are at work during tbe day. this doesnt make sense

i fully agree that electricity must fall....i am the only one with an income in a rental property who barely makes ends meat and have moved from a usage of R250 montly to R800 montly on electricity.It seems to me that i need to find new employement inorder to cater for electricity and other basic essentials needs which i canot afford. before the electricity hicke i was already struggling and now i cant even afford to have my geyeser on for an hour just to take a shower.This is flippen rediculous!!!!!

My mom is a widow and a pensioner and paying a ridiculous amount of money for electricity, and the City don't care as long as they make their money. #electricitymustfall
