It's complete rubbish that the tariff has increased so drastically. R100 used to give me 90 units, now it gets me 51 units. I've just had a baby, there see so many expenses and now you add to it with this steep increase. I rent an apartment so technically I don't own that property. I don't have a home.
Once again the middle guy gets a wiping.

I smell a rat with electricity usage as a whole. We are 3 people in the house normally, the past week we were only 2 and decided not to cook and have sarmies and cereal and warmed some ready made soup. We switch our geyser off and only switch it on when needed for 30 mins but somehow used the same amount of electricity as always.
