Electricity is just not affordable for us pensioners. Our pension went up R30 while electricity went up more than R100 in my case.

To increase electricity tariffs during a pandemic when most people lost their jobs and struggling to survive is inhumane and absolutely absurd. I'm currently paying R3.17 per unit!!! Insane!

It is unforgivable how the powers at the top deem it acceptable to make our lives even more difficult with these rising costs. Covid has already taken so much from us, besides the family members. The mothers, fathers and other loved ones and not counting the countless of jobs lost. They deem it fit that to put even more pressure on our already stressfull lives in trying to keep the lights burning. Pardon the punn.

Almost as much as City of Cape Town charges. When you buy R50 from CCT you get less than 25 units and then they deduct an amount for your water arrears from that too. Bad bad

Get all monies that was stolen back and we never have to have any increases and pay less salaries but only to qualified persons.
