I am asking members of the Electoral College to cast their vote for Senator Rand Paul as President on December 19, 2016. If 37 members of the Electoral College switched their vote from Donald Trump to Rand Paul, it would leave nobody with the required 270 Electoral votes to become President. The House of Representatives would be free to elect the next President from three choices: Rand Paul, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton since the House can only choose from the top three candidates. Currently, the House is under Republican control so Rand Paul would have an excellent chance of being selected by the House as the next President of the United States.
I am sure Senator Paul will be pressured to discourage the Electoral College away from this course of action but you must decide this for yourselves. I ask all of you to pray and reflect before casting your vote.
The Electoral College was created to act as a check on an electorate that might be deceived. We need you to act in that capacity now. Please consider voting for Senator Rand Paul for President.
