LONG LINES ARE A JOKE. If we want people to care about politics we need to make it easier for them to show up.
It needs to be a holiday. Employers just dont care if you need time to head out and vote.
Voting is way too hard when you work full time. Make it a holiday so everyone can actually participate.
I don't think it should be made a National Holiday. I think it should be an Election Day and every effort to allow every citizen to vote should be made by registering voters at each and every state/county or federal program or level citizens have contact with.
Nobody should have to choose between their paycheck and their right to vote. Just give us the day off so we can get to the polls.

I worked all day last time and felt terrible that I missed it. Please make this happen.
