I only recently met Dr. Parikh and we don't always see eye to eye. But I believe he brings a fresh perspective to our field and would do a great job as president. I speak for all of SCAROP when I say he should be ASTRO's next president.

Dr Parikh and I co-wrote this together (https://graypeace.medium.com/) so I know him well. He has nothing but the highest respect for radiation oncology and all of its practitioners. He would bring forward thinking to ASTRO leadership and be willing to make decisions even if they were not popular. And, he's rational to a fault.

I have been aware of Dr. Parikh's contributions to our field and would promote him to ASTRO President before any other colleagues in Radiation Oncology
