Rescind the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act

I'm seeing this happen right now. The enduring Power of Attorney (stepmother) has contacted my Elderly father's care facility and informed the staff that all phone and visitation to my father be cancelled. This is unjustifiable and by no means right.

I am a friend of an 88 year old lady who has been place in a seniors home against her will. Her appointed power of attorney refuses to provide her with her mail, financial information, has disposed of her personal belongings against her will, is using her money to try to prevent her friends from seeing her, has taken away her identifications, house key, cheque books yet still makes her sign blank cheques, has taken people to court to try to stop from seeing her. These are just a few things that he has done. I have made application through the public trustees office back in March 2019 to have him removed without any response to date. The Power of Attorney was signed under duress and she neither remembers signing it nor other documents. He is not a relative and somebody that arrived from Toronto last May and is not in any way related to this lady. He is the brother of her brothers best friend. There is no proof that has been provided that he is in fact her Power of Attorney and Trustee under a Personal Directive. He claims to have had her declared incompetent by way a affidavit of Agent. It is my belief that this is all ender abuse and that he should be removed as her Agent and Attorney. What can I as a friend do for her?

DAD has been abused physically and financially by the public trustee and south health hospital since Dec. 2013 and it continues 2016. He needs help.

I am appalled that our 'civilization' has never ceasing 'audacities' we feel a rampant and devouring justification to inflict upon our seniors. Have they not done enough for our country?

My husband of 23 yrs marriage has been stolen from me by an estranged daughter. Then after 90 days dumped him back on the OPG. Lots of lies and allegations, they won't rightly accuse me of, they allow me to see him one day a week at a four hundred klm trip. I am not allowed to speak on the phone with him and can not visit unsupervised. 23 yrs of happy marriage has been torn to shreds. The best years I have left with him, they are stealing. My heart and bones ache so bad to be with him. all I do 6 days and 73 hours is cry. They stole my husband with never once asking our story! Shame on you Pam Anderson for doing this to your dad! (It is only a name but uses it as a credential) How do I fight this...pls someone help
