We the undersigned find bill #24 the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act unjust, offensive and in violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedom. Section 103 states that an assessor, under the direction of the court, can violates the privacy of your home in order to assess your competency. Section 104 allows the court to determine your competency in your absence without an assessment. These are some example of the virulent nature of this legislation. We ask that this abusive legislation be rescinded .
