I want legals actions taken against the peoples that made money from this hellhole. Even tho it's been a decade and I was lucky enough to not experience this, I don't want to lives in a world where theses types of peoples can get away with it. Elan was a horrific experience and I trust God there will be justice and healing. Elan was run by satan himself, and what I do know is SATAN LOSES! Prayers to all who survived, God will make the weak strong and he wont waste any part of the trauma we all went through there. Peace Love and Hope.

That place sucked ! Total humiliation and degradation ! I was there in 1974 . Apparently from reading other sites they sugar coated the place as they went along. Today they would be brought up on charges for what they did to people. Mostly young kids! I certainly have no love for that place !

i went through hell here in the summer of 1976. I was 16 and put into boxing rings, literally made to dig my own grave, thrown into a "cancer room" where anything went down and did. On my 16th birthday I was punched in the face by another resident and given no medical attention. I ran away every chance I got...having the good sense to know I was in harm's way!

Never again. I still wake up screaming from the ring sessions. Glad that place is just a pile of dirt now.

My brother never recovered from what happened at Elan. People need to know the truth about those monsters and what they called therapy. It was just pure torture.
