Elaine Dispo has faithfully served as full time faculty, and her contract was not renewed despite being issued an approval letter because as she was out of town did not arrive back on time. Though STC received it the same day as the cut off, it was after 5. Rules are there to help things run more smoothly, but in this case, the Communication Arts Department is left without a valued faculty member to help fill course offerings. This petition is to motivate a as-quick-as-possible full time temporary faculty position to Elaine Dispo, so that she can continue virtually uninterrupted in her service to STC and the offered courses need not be interrupted further.
