We lost our home in the Caldor fire and would like rebuild. Individual assistance would allow this.

If The USFS had responded initially when this fire was reported, there may have been NO loses. The Federal government needs to accept responsibility and help these people!

I'm so surprised that FEMA Individual Assistance has been denied, even on appeal. These people deserve help. The fire is believed to have been started by some idiot with guns. Should the people who lost their homes sue the gun manufacturer? We can't leave Americans high and dry, they need assistance to rebuild or move on.

From a fire that started on federal lands - half the County lands is federal property. The fire has harmed people and devastated communities - with a turned eye from the federal agencies that were created to assist Americans … federal leaders need to push to give need assistance to the communities of our nation.

This is soo unfair. I evacuated and me and my animals were safe after great expense. Grizzly Flats other other hand was completely destroyed. Shame on Biden

Please help those in need an in despair. This was our home. For so many years it was a community that thrived on being self sufficient. We all did our part to commute to an from work being away from our families to have them live a dream most only think about. It is time to move forward with help an compassionate reason for the sake of our community. And the futures of our beliefs an children.

This is the sort of thing FEMA is made for; to help those devastated by natural disasters. These people need the help of the federal government and it's the job of the federal government to look after its citizens in this way.

That’s just wrong, take care of your tax payers in such devastations. Do your jobs.

Sounds like a reasonable request

It's criminal that the victims of this disaster get nothing from FEMA because the 2 wealthier cities at each end of the county were unaffected. Nearly 250 thousand acres burned, 800+ families displaced and homes destroyed. Personally I lost almost everything, many lost more. Help the individuals, the State just wastes the funds you give them
