We should be able to express ourselves thru are clothes and the way we look. Wha we have on or how are hair is or the pericing we have on our body and face has nothing to do with wha we come to school to do .LEARN!!!

How is the school gonna enforce dresscode when we are about to leave anyways. The focus should be on education and not dresscode.

OI JOSUKE, I USED ZA HANDO ON THE SCHOOL HAND BOOK AND NOW THERES NO DRESS CODE
October 12th, 1985: Dog carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen it’s true face.
The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown.
The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout “save us!”...
and I’ll look down and whisper “no”.
Our squad’s nothing but trouble... but we get the job done.

Strict dress codes encourage rebellion in teenagers. Dress codes are a violation of the first amendment, freedom of expression, and the fourteenth amendment which gives parents the rights to raise their child as they please. Creating a “workplace” where they antagonize the teachers we trust and force them to enforce rules they don’t agree with is completely unethical and unfair. In the constitution, Title IX, and the Constitution’s equal protection guarantee, it is stated that schools can’t base a dress code or its enforcement on gender stereotypes. Our school very much does, as boys are not allowed to have longer hair, wear earrings or clothing that expresses themselves. If a lady where to shave off her head, the school wouldn’t bat an eye. I minimal dress code should be enforced for safety, but the school already spent so much money on our safety with the gate. What do they have to worry about?
I minimal dress code should include:
- No trench coats and heavy coats (safety)
- Students must wear shoes of course
- No gang related clothing or violence related clothing, no political clothing for both sides of the student body
- No bare shoulders and no shorts that don’t extend past the fingertips.
That is a reasonable dress code. They enforced this dress code to keep everyone equal, when in honesty they are making it harder for parents during the pandemic, especially when they begin enforcing rules in the middle of the year. Hand-me-downs that are given to kids who can’t afford new school clothes every year might not conform to the dress code. Not to mention, inflations has increasing making shopping in general hard.
Why should a group of GROWNUPS decide what we wear? It’s violating and it shouldn’t be allowed.

Oh you think darkness is your ally, you merely adopted the dark, I was born in it, molded by it.
I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but blinding.
Shadows betray you, because they belong to me.
I will show where I have made my home, while preparing to bring justice, then I will break you.
