*Petition to the Minister of Higher Education, Technology, and Innovation, and the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN)*

We, the students and graduates of the Engineering Institute of Technology (EIT) in Namibia, urge the government and the ECN to recognize our qualifications and grant us the status of Incorporated Engineer or Professional Engineer.

Despite completing a recognized engineering program, EIT graduates face challenges in obtaining professional registration with the ECN, limiting our career prospects and hindering Namibia's development.

We request:

- Recognition of EIT qualifications by the ECN

- Inclusion of EIT graduates in the registration process for Incorporated Engineer or Professional Engineer

- Support for our professional development and contributions to Namibia's growth
