It is a shame to want to pay for your child's private education and now the Government demands piece of the pie when in the 70's they took over the privately governed school and pays the Church a drop of parrot pee as a annual rental. Come on Minister of Finance get with it, give the Guyanese people a break. Why oh why

Education should be free of VAT, not all persons going private schools are the rich and wealthy but those who save and know to give our children a fighting edge today the private arm of education is the path to take. To VAT this is just foolish and inconsiderate of the Guyanese citizens

We are already burden with Vat on most of the essential items. ...come on have a heart. ....we don't have enough Government school for our nation children....so why put a penalty on some.
