Let the Children Go Back to School

My highschool's are needing to go back to school. This is extremely low risk.

These kids need to go back to school!

I understand it would be a hard decision for the diocese to make to start school when it seems like everyone else is choosing not to. They do not want to look “bad” if a lot of students start getting it and then feel like they made a bad decision. That is why I believe they should put it to a “vote” and let the parents make the decision for them! After all,this should be each parents decision in the first place!! I bet they would be VERY close to 100% sending their children to school!!!

Let the kids go back to school

These kids need to be back in school, They are already at a disadvantage having to go through all that Common Core crap a few years ago. They need the interaction of face to face teaching and learning.. i

Catholic education is far to important for our young catholic children. It does not need to be interfered with. Please quit using politics to impede education.

This is crazy. What about working parents or kids with disabilities?

Please allow the children to go to school in person! They need it.

The kids need to go back to school. They need structure and interactions and things that NTI can not provide. I work full time and and it’s physically impossible to try and teach them from home when I’m on virtual work calls for 8 hours. You will lose so many kids to public schooling that is free if you go to NTI and the whole catholic schooling will never be able to recover from this. Make the right decision here!!! Send them to school next week!

I write to you requesting and praying that the Diocese please hold true to the plan for the return to school on August 17th. The teachers and staff in each catholic school in the diocese have worked endlessly, along with all of you in making sure that each school follows the CDC guidelines and recommendations, which clearly states there is more harm in having schools closed and the long term emotional and social issues that arise. I actually witnessed the emotional stress this is causing my 14 year old son as he cried last night because of the constant changes and disappointment by the canceling or closing many events in his life. For my son who has dyslexia, he is best served by being in a classroom with his peers. We spoke with our pediatrician regarding the return to school and he also communicated with us that the emotional and behavioral health risks could cause more harm to our children and highly recommended that they return to school. Catholic schools are beautiful and spiritual for a reason. As you have preached and taught us all to put our faith in God, we ask you to continue to put your faith in God, not a politicians’ recommendation. God will take care of our children.

The kids need to go back to school and interact with one another. It can be done safely. Please stop this nonsense

Please let the kids go back and be educated... this is going to backlash with a major swing of mental illness.... our kids deserve an education

I feel that, for the kids sake, after all that went down when schools were closed, too many lost much more of what was already taught because of not being in school. The kids will continue to get farther behind.

Our schools are small enough/have enough safety measures in place and well established enough to let kids go back to school. They need stability and face to face instruction to not fall more and more behind.

Let the parents and teachers choose to stay home if they want but let the other's start back.

I monitored my grandchildren’s NTI so their parents were able to work ! They need to be back in school now !

There is so much more than the fear of kids and teachers getting sick. Their social and mental health should be considered

Please let our children go back to school !
