The kids should be back in school! Our death numbers are in single digits. Our kids need to be with the teachers and the other students. They need interaction. They need normal routines, a chance to learn and grow!
It is not okay that the governor is holding our children's well being hostage - for no reason.
Our wonderful school has done all things possible to ensure a safe return. We need this for the children!!

How long does this stay up so I can go back and see who on here is the first to sue the school when Jimmy or Mary gets real sick.
I don’t see anyone praying for the Teachers or saying they have a right to be safe.
You bunch of lazy parents. All you all care about is the $ you make and money you spend.

Following protocol and a tax paying citizen. We demand our kids be allowed to go to school as planned. Leave our families and kids alone to go to school and learn and be kids.

We wouldn’t be in the position if we had a real president. What was his response to all this situation. Oh yeah he punted to the Governors so you would bash them instead of him. Even his kid isn’t going back yet.

Send the kids back to school. Our school is a little Catholic school and is taking all the sanitary rules asked. The kids need to be social and i am not a teacher. The kids need a teacher.

It has not hit me until now with regard to everything I may not get this year. It hurts knowing that many of the last things in school may have already occurred. The last homecoming, last time cheering a game, even something as small as my last Cru-Bar. My senior year is going to look very different from those in the past. My heart is breaking, knowing I may not get the big events or even the small things. I may not get my homecoming, iconic friendship dance, prom, or graduation. I may not get a homecoming soccer game, playing for a purpose or cheer a state basketball tournament game. I may not get first Fridays out of uniform, senior lunches, going to lunch on the first bell, or leaving the gym first after an assembly. I may not be getting to cheer my senior season or a senior night. Through all the heartbreak and loss, I know that little things will mean more and friendships will become stronger. Through the loss, my classmates and I know we will see the great love from our family and friends, replacing those things we lose. We will learn how to adapt and be flexible and, most importantly, make the most of what we have. I believe that, however heartbroken I become, I know I am not alone. I am grateful for the past 11 years. I hope to get my graduation year and all it has to offer, even if it looks a little different this year. This year is going to teach us how important the little things are in life, and to stop and enjoy the moment. The class of 2021 will not let a worldwide pandemic take away everything. We will make the most of what we have and receive. I believe that God gives his hardest battles to the strongest soldiers. We are strong and faithful, we are the class of 2021. Please give me my senior year, don’t take everything away! Please!

Other countries had a solid leader and they follow the rules and are selfless and not selfish. They have consequences for not following rules. Here we blame everyone else

It’s time for the Diocese to take a stand, have a backbone for once and do what is right for our kids. The Diocese has failed children time and again over the years, for once they need to stand up for our children and do what is right for them by opening schools back up.
They have a plan to keep our kids and staff safe, if that plan was vetted and deemed safe as of yesterday what has changed as of today? Other than the governor pandering to a group that got him elected and threatened him with a letter I’m not sure anything else has changed in the last 24 hours.
