We're petitioning to have Facebook reinstate the original EDM Maniac page! After doing our best to comply with Facebook's contest/promotion policies, Facebook has decided to unpublish our page. We have appealed this, and hope with your help Facebook will bring it back. In the past week EDM Maniac has received a few notices from Facebook asking EDM Maniac to comply with their Facebook promotional guidelines regarding contests. According to Facebook’s Guidelines it is against their policy to ask fans to “share” a post as an entry to a contest or giveaway that you are doing. They asked us to delete the posts, which we did, but were unable to delete all of the one’s that had the share option (there were just too many). Contests and giveaways have a played a huge part in making our brand successful and have allowed us to engage with our fans in a really unique way. We have built several partnerships with many prominent EDM players to allow us to grow exponentially through these contests. Creating an delivering these awesome contests is a huge part in making all of my dreams (and others) come true. To give people the chance to attend shows or win cool products is something we take pride in, and is a huge THANK YOU to our fans for their continue support. The sad reality is that similar contests are run through thousands (if not millions) of Facebook pages every day. We are committed to obiding by Facebook's rules and took necessary steps and measures after we were notified. We hope Facebook will take our appeal seriously and reinstate EDM Maniac.
