Final supporters
Through the years, Harry Potter fans have grown up with the characters in the magical Harry Potter series, both in the books and on the movie screen.
As the characters have grown up, the readers and viewers have also grown up, and the later books and movies in the series reflect this more mature audience. However, now with the series available in its entirety, children and young teens who are reading and watching are not maturing with the series.
We desire to protect children and young teens from the violence and sexually suggestive material used in the new Harry Potter 7 movies.
We request and encourage Warner Brothers to provide a PG version of both the Harry Potter 7 movies at the release of the part 2 DVD. This may be done by providing an edited option on the DVD, or a separate DVD with the edited version.
We understand the amount of work this request requires, and by signing our names we agree to purchase this edited version if it becomes available.

im still getting emails about how much people want an edited version for their kids. its clear that so many families are waiting for a way to watch these movies together without worrying about the intense stuff.

i cannot believe how much momentum this has gained lately. it is cool to see so many people wanting the same options for these movies. thanks for sticking with this and helping make our request clear.

My kids really love the series but the last ones are just way too dark and intense for them now. Really hope they offer a family friendly version so we can watch together.
Seriously needed. Why do they have to make everything so scary nowadays? Keep it suitable for everyone!

Too much violence in part 1 and 2. My youngest is scared to death of some of the scenes. Please edit them down!
