My son is in the Woodrow Wilson middle; I am not happy about his extensive use of Chromebook at school.

Chromebooks should only be used as a tool - not primary source for learning. It takes away from improving fine motor skills and inhibits creativity.

I am no against technology but at this age kids needs to learn core skills writing is one of them that will be killed by using chrome book.
Healthwise , this is disaster in making after few years we will be reading the impact poor eye side and what not.

It is true and also parcc testing is a big problem... Online testing is putting up this pressure... It wld b great if someone petitions against parcc too..

I whole heartedly agree. Children are not interacting and are lacking common sense being exposed so early to technology.
