What are you doing? I love you. I love the brand! I am a Brand Ambassador and have been since 2003! We are not a DESTINATION business? Let me repeat - WE ARE NOT A DESTINATION BUSINESS!
We are a GIFTING COMPANY built on convenience, driven by millennial purchasing habits that happen to make up 80% of our customer base. Customers do not need to come into our stores to send a gift. That is not easy nor convenient. Customers do not want to come into our stores to get a strawberry treat bags or a smoothies. Our model needs to change. Our store fronts are not our advantage, they are our detriment because the strategies being implemented are not going to drive people in to our locations to purchase a gift they can conveniently order online. The definition of insanity is not doing the same thing expecting different results, INSANITY is doing the same thing, KNOWING what the results will be. We are a gifting company? Who is our customer? What are their needs? The only way to drive people into our stores is to provide a sit down service, but then we’re a Liquid Planet with gift baskets. Instead of making cookies and cheesecake, which again, is a strategy centered around driving people into our stores, how about riding the platter momentum and offering VEGGIE TRAYS with signature dips? Has anyone noticed how the pharmaceutical industry business that was once so lucrative for Edible Arrangements is now obsolete? Why? Because our baskets are considered a GIFT and industry standards have changed. Let’s provide these reps a healthy food Platter of vegetables with signature dips?

The new required hours are ridiculous. What happened to the idea of testing everything before implementing?

When we are not able to justify to open after 5 or max 6 pm on weekdays, what is the point to open 9 AM to 8 PM? My store is not at safe location. Also Sunday sales are $200 so why we should drain money by opening longer hours.

Store 779 in Vermont.
In general, the safety of my employees and to staff through these hours does not make sense in my area. Until Edibles corporate comes up with a proven solution that our storefronts are destination locations for food and treats, my store will not be able to operate with later hours.

Store 797. There is no way I will send my drivers out this late. Difficult enough to find rural addresses when it’s dark by 5 pm plus it’s dangerous to go knocking on strangers homes after dark. The added payroll in the summer can in no way be justified. It’s all pointless anyway to get more orders if I have nothing to put them in anyway!

Corporate has many ideas to push this brand forward but NOT everything that comes to mind can just be executed. You can not expect us to make such drastic changes to the hours when sales have done nothing but incline. My sales on sundays have been less then $200 with sometimes only 1 delivery. This is just insane!
I agree that onces all these changes start making a significant sales increase then and only then this should be considered.

The change is hours makes no sense. For the safety of my stuff and drivers this won’t work. Furthermore we can’t afford the extra payroll.

Extended hours ...particularly on Sunday until 7pm is not financially possible. This day historically creates a financial deficit. We are not a dry goods store ...and can not sustain these hours without creating a larger financial burden. Until it is proven that new marketing initiative is working..hours should not be affected. Let’s work to grow our business/brand first!!! It’s been 2 yrs of decking sales. Adding additional hours will effectively create more of a financial burden.
