The extended hours do not justify our current decline in sales and increase in fees. These added payroll cost will definitely drive me out of business and as a small business owner this is a very scary time for not only me but other franchisees as well. Please reconsider your decision. I am sure intentions are well however, this is not the right time.

Problem is not the hours we open, this extended hours is not going to help us,much more cost for stores,we are struggling with all of costs that we have now .EA Fee and extended hours will help just you for a short time and You will payback soon by closing stores one by one RECONSIDER IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE Store 1509,1601

I agree with ALL the comments made by other Franchisee’s!!!! There is NO business after 5pm!!! In Los Angeles TRAFFIC after 3:45pm is insane with an hour round trip just to deliver any ware between a 3-4 miles, the OUT OF TOUCH Edible Heads IN CHARGE are insensitive to FRANCHISEE’s needs, it discussing!

In recent months, you have: - increased the EA Connect fee to 10%, - offered non-stop 20% off and free delivery promotions on as little as a $50 order, even through holidays - now extended the hours for no reason (we used to be open until 7 PM and there was no business; in fact, there is virtually no business after 5 PM) We are being squeezed from all sides and this can't continue. As I read in an article on the collapse of Quiznos, the biggest lesson is "Make sure your franchisees can make money."

This is not a good business decision. Tariq please reconsider. The system is so fragile it cannot sustain more expenses. I am sure your intention is not to destroy the stores nor the franchisees. So please reconsider we need to find a way to improve sales before talking about more expenses

First need to increase the sales during the hours we are open. Before we start extended hours....edible is not a destination shopping outlet for a evening dinner or family get together.

Please reconsider this decision. No justification for the hours we already work. Chick Fil A makes more money not working Sunday. Problem is not the hours we are open problem is marketing. Marketing had failed the whole system. At this time the marketing team is not present whoever is present have no experience for this huge franchise system. Increase the sales then we will open longer hours but without sales there is no meaning to keep the door open

Three locations. This extended hours does not make sense when sales are declining and we have no orders to work during current business hours.

6 stores. Good business decisions are based on testing and data. Where is the data to support this change?

Store 553, 645 Hello Mr. Farid, Hope you are doing well. I am a little concerned about the new changes that Edible came up with in terms of extending winter and summer hours. I fail to understand the logic behind the same as the main reason why summer is slow in terms of sales is because people are away due to summer vacations or some planned holidays. So, extending hours knowing from our prior knowledge that summer usually goes slow does not sink in my head well. We the franchisee pray the summer goes by quickly during the month of summer because of constant low sales and yet the payroll has not much of a difference during low sales as someone has to be there from 8:00 to 7:00, and we need a designer and a driver. So, we are struggling to begin with in terms of payroll during low sales season; so extending hours without any prior feedback to franchisees would not be considered fair. Also, I would like to express my concerns over the declining sales. We are a unique brand with a unique product. Our product speak for itself and no one can deny that. We do not have a direct strong competitor which makes us more successful and unique. Selling ETG products with a hope that it would bring a lot of sales might not be realistic. Its a penny business. I owned the franchise, Little Caesars, for a few years and I have realized it hard way that to make money selling $5 pizza, one would need to do a huge volume. I entered into edible with a thought its a profitable business because our average ticket is higher and you can make good sales with few orders easily. Little Caesars is struggling badly with this $5 deal. Hundreds of stores have been out of business in the past 3 years because of the way the company is structured and the new agendas they are coming up with. I am feared if we are next after the failure of Little Caesars as a brand. Also, adding Platters on the board was a smart move. It can be directed to the businesses, schools & colleges etc. Ho

A little over a year ago, after an exhausting 4 year search for a business, my girlfriend and I decided to invest our time and money with Edible Arrangements. While attending discovery day in Connecticut we were treated like royalty and led to believe that we would be a part of a company that cares about their products, customers, and their franchisees We knew this business would be a challenge and we were up for it. However, we did not feel that the challenges would come from the company that we loved and supported. When we were forced to sell pre-packaged, (for the lack of a better word) “crap”, at ridiculous prices we were totally against it but participated. It was a total failure and so many new ideas from this Company have been. Sometimes to move forward you need to look back. We can’t believe that 20 years ago this is what you would have wanted your company to become. We think the consumer is finally catching up to your idea of healthy, freshly made products. You need to stop comparing yourself to companies like Amazon, Shari’s Berries and 1-800 flowers and McDonald’s your company will never be like them and quite frankly why would you want it to be? Nobody knows their stores or areas like the owners operators and managers. Furthermore, at this time when orders are abundant and delivery times might go over our set times we stay late and fulfill orders as necessary to accommodate our customer’s needs. However being forced to stay open late to put staff at risk and the increased financial burden it puts on our small store is something we cannot tolerate. Our customers are willing to pay a little more for a fresh locally made product. If they want to buy crap let them go to Walmart where they can get it much cheaper. Please remember who made you what you are today, your franchisees. You need to listen and support the people that support you. They put everything on the line for you as they work and support your product every single day. Don’t bite the hand th

when we moved from closing at 5 to closing at 7 it did NOT increase sales- just cost us more labor $- we should go back to closing at 5

we should be cutting hours back to 5 pm NOT extending them... cannot afford this! staffing is already a major challenge and this will ake it MORE difficult! Older drivers (which is all we can afford) do not want to be out after dark! Sundays are NOT an option for religious reasons (this was why we first were attracted to EA...) ALREADY LOST 2 STAFF BECAUSE OF THE MEMO THAT WAS SENT OUT AND LOOKS LIKE MORE WILL FOLLOW... PLS RETRACT THIS ASAP. THANK YOU
