To All Emergency Department RN's.

As you know we have from time to time had problems with our ED Techs being held accountable for their assigned work areas. In an attempt to resolve this,we suggest assigning them toone RN in their area, who they will check in with at the beginning of their shift as well as throughout the shift when they are asked to assist another area. In addition this nurse would be responsible for making sure their checklists and restocking iscompleted in their area for that shift. It was suggested to begin a petition to see how many of the ED nurses would be willing to be this RNassigned to the Tech. Please sign this petition if you are willing to perform this role.
