To all Commanders and to FDev: This request is to finally make all aspects of the game worthwhile playing for fun AND progress!

The goal is to have FDev focus their efforts on correcting Elite Dangerous' balance on making credits throughout various professions including;

  • All types of Missions
  • Bounty Hunting
  • Exploration
  • All types of Mining - including balance profits for materials (why are we forced to ignore 99% of materials while only one is worthwhile grinding?)
  • Trading & Smuggling
  • Piracy

For ALL professions following core principles should apply:

  1. The higher the (actual Risk) the higher the reward
  2. Ships matter - the more specialized the more outcome (this is already mostly applied in the current release)
  3. Skill matters - get more skill based mechanisms

The goal shall not be to have exactly same outputs per profession but the ratio must allow for a variety of possible ways to make credits; 10mio CR/hr for bounty hunting vs. 500mio CR/hr for mining forces a player to decide between play-style preference vs. game progress.

Let players have fun and let them play their preferred profession without being punished for their choice of profession due to DRASTICALLY LIMITED GAME PROGRESS.
