I strongly recommend using the non-toxic weed control product provided by Organa Lawn (a Boulder company). They do an excellent job and their products are very effective!

I was walking through the neighborhood on this day and immediately noticed the toxic smell, we have two kids with Asthma and I would not have let them outside had they beenhome, it was ridiculous how much of the smell was floating through the air for hours afterwards. You know the chemical is utterly toxic when the person applying it is in a full hazmat suit. We MUST get a better alternative, like whatever Organo Lawn uses. This is unexceptable for us and our children's health concerns!

Huge fail to apply this product on the common areas in the neighborhood. Whoever decided this was a good idea should be replaced.

Please notify people as to what chemicals are being sprayed in our neighborhood and potential hazards. We were all surprised and left feeling nervous and wondering what was going on.

In addition to requesting a change, equally important is communication. I was lucky that others asked about how long we should stay off the grass, when I got home from work the fumes were enough to let me know to keep the kids off, but I wouldn't have stayed as vigilent if a neighbor hadn't posted the 2 week notice. Seems like an email or flyer should have gone out with this mess.

Thank you for putting this petition together. We live on a corner and the grass next to our sidewalk was sprayed, as it's a "common" area for the HOA. Our dandelions (which we manage non-toxically) were all dead within two days after the spraying of the grass across the sidewalk from our front yard. This indicates that the spraying effects were not limited to the common areas, and I find this particularly frustrating because we work very hard to manage our yard without chemicals. Also, my kids and dog use that grass and there was nothing flagged that it was unsafe or that these areas should be avoided. I would greatly prefer non-chemical management of common areas.

If this chemical carries warning about inhalation and contact with skin, why weren't the areas flagged where this was applied? Isn't that required normal operating procedure? Thank you to those who have brought this to the attention of the Lanscape Commitee, the Board, and the management company.

I am beyond angry about this application of herbicides in our common areas. Not only has it ruined the nice landscaping by staining all the rocks highlighter yellow, but it is endangering my kids and pets. This is not ok.

I have had 2 conversations with HOA management company. Chris told me it was the *least* toxic product. Gaaron and I spoke at length yesterday. He assured me that the landscape company used by Four Mile would no longer use this pre-emergent. Shutting the barn door after... Also, the solution to our current problem is rain but then these toxins will simply run into our creeks and groundwater. To say that we are angry and disappointed regarding this issue is an understatement. It has never been used in the past. Why now? For those of us who live along the median areas and/or the pathways, be sure to keep an eye on any plant materials. If they die, the problem lands in the lap of MSI and the landscape company.

I took a walk today, and two days after spraying the fumes still made me cough! Please keep this poison away from our children, pets, homes and wildlife!

Took the kids for a walk today and the smell was horrible. It's hard to keep the kids off the grass as well. Please do not spay Pre-M again, and consider a safer alternative next time.

Just awful. I live in the neighborhood & walk dogs in the neighborhood, it has been a rough week with that awful smell & trying to keep the dogs away from it. Don't ever use this stuff again please.
