The existing recycling bins at the University of the West Indies (UWI) are often overflowing leading to recyclables being mixed with general waste. Also, without additional bins, the students and staff may not recycle as diligently as they could. Therefore, we propose installing a new recycling bin in a central location on campus. This bin should be clearly labeled and easily accessible to everyone. With that, this will serve as an educational tool to raise more awareness, diverting recyclables away from landfills, and reinforcing UWI's commitment to sustainability.

We urge the administration to prioritize this initiative. Let's make our campus greener and more environmentally conscious.
