The 2800 block of Echodale avenue is regularly plagued by traffic traveling at an excessive speed and encroaching on parking lanes, often resulting in damage to parked vehicles and personal/public property along the stretch of road.

We (residents of Echodale Ave and other concerned citizens) would like to see various traffic calming measures put in place to reduce the speed and reckless nature of vehicles traveling along the corridor. Some of these measures include:

• Removing the M-F 4-6pm parking restriction on the eastbound side.
• Protecting both eastbound and westbound parking lanes with physical barriers such as large planters and other objects utilized in tactical urbanism.
• Re-striping of the 2800 stretch of road to widen the westbound parking lane, and, reduce traffic to two lanes.
